Stock & License
• Bremer Bay Marron –
business name and License
• 50,000 juveniles
• 600 Brood Stock,
comprising of 450 females and
150 males
*note : all stock has be
removed from the farm
prior to sale and I will
restock to the above
quantities if required.
As a suggestion to someone who the
ponds that run along side the Nat Pk, 5
in total. The other ponds could be filled
in for another house, sub - division,
live stock, market garden, or a
combination of ideas.
If someone was to keep the marron
side going more as an income, hobby
farm, or interest, I would suggest
keeping the license, about $400 a
year, and do the above but keeping
two rows of ponds. 15 ponds in total. 5
next to the Nat Pk, 8 in the next row,
and the two smaller ones by the shed
for breeding. I can provide juveniles
and breeding stock from Denmark if
required along with any info and or
training involving the marron.
A rough estimate of costs to push the
top 14 ponds over would be
approximately $25,000 using a local
contractor. This will leave the 5 along
side the National Park, the 8 next to
side the National Park, the 8 next to
side the National Park, the 8 next to
them, the 2 large non draining ones
them, the 2 large non draining ones
and the two half size for breeding. This
would free up approximately 6 acres of
land to use for other proposes.
